According to media reports Walsall manager Dean Smith has become the target of Championship side, Millwall, as they seek to fill the void left by the dismissal of Ian Holloway.
Millwall, who are currently skippered by caretaker manager Neil Harris, are odds on to be relegated from the Sky Bet Championship as they are currently four points from safety with just two games remaining, defeat to play-off hopeful's Derby County on Saturday could see them sent down.
Meanwhile Smith, who is linked with a summer switch to the New Den, has moved quickly to dismiss any interest, he told the Walsall Advertiser: "It's the first I've heard of it, I've not heard anything and I've got a job to do here."
