Earlier today Walsall Football Club announced that they had extended the loan of Manchester City's Jordy Hiwula, until the end of the season. Following the news Walsall manager Dean Smith spoke to the club's official website and praised the Manchester-born man.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Smith said; “I am really pleased that we have been able to extend Jordy’s stay with us until the end of the season. His attitude and application has been first-class ever since he has been here and I am very pleased with his development.
“There has been constant communication between ourselves and Manchester City and this move has benefited all concerned.
“Jordy has fitted into the group extremely well and whilst he started like a house on fire in terms of goals, his performances since then have been excellent, and hopefully more goals will follow for him in these final weeks of the season.”
