
Speaking to BBC WM, Smith said; "I'm in a positive frame of mind. I can't complain at the performances. And the fans can see that the players are working hard.
"We just need to put the ball in the back of the net. We had two clean sheets over the Easter weekend. Unfortunately, so did the opposition.
"We got applauded off against Peterborough and, against Notts County, we did everything but score. We hit the post, hit the bar, had one cleared off the line and the keeper clawing one out of the top corner.
"You go through periods like that. We just need a bit of luck, a bit of a fluke and the floodgates will open. We haven't had a penalty at home for over a year."
