Later today Walsall Football Club will play host to Crawley Town in the latest Sky Bet League 1 clash of the season, ahead of kick-off, Crawley boss Dean Saunders has spoken to the press about the game, and is keen for his side to bounce back from a disappointing 2-1 defeat at the hands of Scunthorpe United last weekend.

Speaking to the Mid Sussex Times, Dean said; “Saturday was disappointing but it’s behind us now. As soon as we got on the bus our thoughts turned to Tuesday night.

“We know we didn’t perform on Saturday but when we’ve had a bad result in recent weeks we’ve normally bounced back. After the Gillingham game we picked up four points in two games.

“The games are running out. Players are playing for their futures and we have four games left. If someone had offered me our position with ten games to go I’d probably have taken it because it’s in our own hands but we have to get that intensity we had against Crewe and Oldham back on Tuesday for what will be another tough game.

“We have worked hard over the last two days since Scunthorpe on a few things that we didn’t do well on Saturday and we’ll be ready on Tuesday night.”
