Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser, Kieron, whose contract expires at the end of the current campaign, said; "It's a chance for me to impress when I'm playing and when I get that chance. When the gaffer picks me in that starting eleven I know I've got to do well. But I'm happy with it and I thought I had a good game.
"It was really tough but, having been on loan two leagues below, obviously the tempo and standard is just higher. Coming back into League One is a big step but I thought I handled it well.
"I thought as a team we were excellent, we created so many chances - Cooky right at the start of the game and then again in the second half.
"We put in a couple of corners and feel like we should have scored off them as well. We had so many chances but need to get that end product. All the lads were happy with the performance but obviously disappointed with not getting any goals.
"I think that's what we're missing as a team, we need goals."
