Walsall Football Club Assistant and Reserves team manager Richard O'Kelly has spoken to the club's official website following Wednesday evening's Walsall Senior Cup Semi Final success against Brocton, and has praised his side's competitive performance.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Richard said; “It’s nice to get to the Final of any competition, and it’s particularly good for the young lads. On the night we were well-organised and competed well, which we needed to do.
“Both of our goals were well-taken, to put us two goals in front, but the next stage of development for these young lads is when we are in a position of strength, certain characteristics and skills need to be applied.
“The quicker we develop these attributes, the better it will be for individuals and the group as a whole. That said, we managed to get the victory in the end and now we look forward to the Final."
