Walsall Football Club's first-choice goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell is just one clean-sheet away from equalling the club's all-time record of twenty-two clean-sheets, which is currently held by Clayton Ince.
Former Trinidad and Tobago international Ince, who made almost eighty international appearances for the Soca Warriors, kept twenty-two clean sheets during the Saddlers' title winning season in 2006/07, the same season that he was named in the PFA's League Two 'Team of the Year'.
Sheffield-born O'Donnell, who joined Walsall in the summer of 2013, has kept seventeen clean-sheets in the league, along with four in the Saddlers' cup ventures this season. He recently added to his collection as both Fleetwood Town and Crawley Town failed grab a goal as the Saddlers emerged victorious.
Since joining the club Richard has played in every competitive match, and recently made his one-hundred-and-third consecutive first-team appearance for the club, and with the Reds travelling North to take on a Crewe Alexandra side that hasn't won in the last four outings, his confidence must be high.
