Brocton Manger David Berks has spoken to the local press ahead of this evening's Walsall Senior Cup Semi-Final clash between Walsall and Brocton, and has insisted that his side are not just in it for the occasion.
Speaking to the Staffordshire Newsletter, Berks said; "It's a good opportunity for the lads to test themselves against a league side. It will be very difficult.
"Their first team played last night, so I would guess it'll be a mix of youth and reserve players.
"They'll be a very fit side, so we'll have to match that and be at our best. We're going into it thinking we can win. We're not just in it for the occasion."
The match, which kick's off at 7:30pm, takes place at Silkmore Lane in Stafford, with the winner of the tie facing Chasetown in the final at Banks's Stadium on Monday, 27th April, the Scholars defeated Tividale three-nil in their Semi Final in March.
