Walsall Football Club top-scorer Tom Bradshaw has spoken to the local press ahead of Tuesday evening's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Crawley Town, and has discussed setting a new goal-scoring target as he hopes to catch the eye of Wales manager Chris Coleman.

Speaking to the Express & Star, Tom said; “Obviously because of injury I’ve left it quite tight but I’ve got every confidence that I will be able to get to 20 and hopefully it will help us stay up and push on up the table.

“My initial target was 15. Once I got to 15, I reassessed and wanted to push on into the 20s but having injuries has handicapped me a little bit.

“But with the injuries I’ve had this year and the amount of games I’ve missed, I’d be more than happy to get to 20. I think that is always a good marker for a striker in a season.

“The gaffer asked me a few times through the Fleetwood game how I was feeling. I said I felt fine because my hamstring felt the strongest it’s felt – touch wood – for six or seven weeks.

“It felt like I’ve got full power back in it and we gave it an extra week to recover and strengthen and that’s done it the world of good.”
