Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser, Wacka said; "There will be a lot of 'if only this' or 'what if that' going on with Walsall this week – and that is a terrible thing for players to be thinking.
"They will feel they didn't give a true account of themselves out there and there is nothing worse and looking back on a game like that, like that. I was sick to death of saying it during the commentary for the game I was doing. I must have said it at least 20 times, the final ball just let them down.
"That wasn't Walsall for me. I have played against them a few times since I left and they are usually so sharp on the edge of the box, so dangerous – it just was not to be, though. That is football. Sometimes it can work like that and it is hard to understand why."
