Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press ahead of Tuesday evening's Sky Bet League 1 trip to Yeovil Town, and has called upon the supporters to save their frustrations for after the game, insisting we need to come together and find the right answers to the current run of bad form.

Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; "It doesn’t help when you are trying to pass it and there are a couple of ironic cheers. I think it just hinders the players more than anything else.

“We all get frustrated but vent those frustrations at the end of the game and not during the 90 minutes.

“The players do not go out to purposely make mistakes, they are all willing lads who give 100 per cent and try to play to the best of their ability.

“We have to stay together as a group because the last couple of results have not been good enough. We have to stay together and come up with the answers.”
