Walsall Football Club's Johnstone's Paint Trophy opponents Bristol City have been given a further 4,000 tickets for the Final, which is at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, 22nd March.
City's sales reached 25,000 during the priority periods for season ticket holders and members and that figure has now risen to 37,500 since going on general sale on Monday.
City were initially handed 39,000 tickets, and the majority that remain from that allocation are single seats. The club went back to the Football League to ask for more seats – to enable groups to purchase together – and a further 4,000 tickets have now been issued.
Meanwhile Walsall are said to have sold around 27,000 tickets for the game, with the club hoping to hit 30,000 on the big day.
