
Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser, Mal said; "It's been a bit of a whirlwind. I was enjoying it up at York then Saturday I was bombed because they had six loan signings and I was the one to miss out because there are only five allowed in the match day squad," he said.
"I was angry on Saturday and then the next thing you know I go into training on Monday and I got called back. I thought it was just because I wasn't involved but I didn't know I was going to start till Monday afternoon. It was a bit of a shock but I had to be ready for it.
"Obviously Wembley is a big occasion for the club but I'm just taking it each game as it comes and if I do end up playing, brilliant, if I don't I will understand because I have only just came back this week.
"I've been to Wembley before but only for Asian awards so I have seen the pitch but I have never played before. It would be the best moment of my football career if I do play or I am involved so hopefully I am."
