Walsall Football Club's Reserve team manager Richard O'Kelly has spoken to the club's official website following Tuesday afternoon's Final Third Development League (West) victory over Wigan Athletic, and has praised his side for their great performance.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Richard said; "It was a good team performance. We were very well-organised, especially in the first half, and our understanding of when and where to pass the ball was excellent. We won a lot of second balls and were able to build the play, which was pleasing to see.

"I was pleased with our goals and, credit to Wigan, even when they were reduced to ten men, their young side kept trying to do the right things. Overall I would say it was a pleasing performance and a deserved victory."
