Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press following Tuesday evening's Sky Bet League 1 victory over Yeovil Town, and has hailed goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell who along with putting in yet another clean-sheet display, saved a Byron Webster penalty late in the game to help the Saddlers secure all three points, and put an end to a four-game winless run.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Dean said; "Richard has guessed well. They do a lot of studying, him and Neil Cutler, on penalty takers and it was a really good save. I’m really pleased for him.
“Both goalkeepers were excellent and they had to be otherwise it would have been a cricket score of a game. Richard is an important part of our team and is doing really well.”
