Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, James said; “We defended well for the majority of the game and dealt with a lot of crosses into our box. It’s just disappointing that we got done for one of them late on and it’s cost us something out of the game.
“Neither goalkeeper was over-worked, to be honest. The wind caused problems all afternoon and it wasn’t the best of games for the neutral.
“There was a lot of anger and frustration after the game, but that team spirit and togetherness is still very much there, and we can’t lose that.
“We’ve got eight big games to come where we’ll be doing the right things and continue plugging away.
“There’s no way that we’re going to feel sorry for ourselves; we’ll continue battling and if we can add a bit of quality, which we know we are capable of, we’ll be able to push on.
“It’s always nice to be out there playing. I’d like to think that I dealt with the disappointment of last weekend professionally and have responded in the right way.”
