Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Chesterfield, and has briefly discussed on-loan Leicester City midfielder Michael Cain's contract status, with the Luton-born lad set to be a free agent in the summer.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; “If he becomes a free agent, then we will consider things. At the moment, that’s not the case and, as he is under 24, there might well be a fee involved.”
