Walsall Football Club's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final opponents, Bristol City, are edging ever closer to a complete sell-out of their ticket allocation for the match, which takes place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, 22nd March.
More than 25,000 Robins supporters bought seats for the clash during the opening two priority selling periods, which were similar to Walsall's in terms of restrictions, with season-ticket holders and those with booking history allowed to purchase before the general public, however City limited fans to four tickets per-person, rather than the Saddlers' six.
Tickets went on general sale on Monday during which the current Sky Bet League 1 leaders sold another 11,000 tickets over the day.
Following that surge in sales the Ashton Gate outfit, who were awarded an initial allocation of 39,000 tickets, have now sold in excess of 35,800 for their first Wembley appearance since 2008, and are expecting to sell-out ahead of the big match.
