Earlier today the organisers of the Final Third Development League Cup have made the draw for the Northern Area Semi Finals of the competition.
North Group B winners Derby County will take on Middlesbrough for a place in the Final, while Wigan Athletic will play one of Shrewsbury Town, Walsall or Port Vale, depending on the conclusion of North Group A next week.
Shrewsbury are due to host Walsall in the final group game on Wednesday 25th February, with both sides needing a win in order to reach the last four of the competition.
The draw is as follows;

Shrewsbury Town/Walsall/Port Vale v Wigan Athletic
