The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final experience is set to get even more memorable for a lucky Walsall supporter after a search was launched for a fan to represent The Saddlers on the pitch at Wembley!
Tournament sponsors, Johnstone’s Paint, is looking for two supporters to go head-to-head on the hallowed Wembley turf during half-time of the Final between Bristol City and Walsall on Sunday, March 22nd. The lucky winners will be decided through a competition.
One fan will be selected to represent each of the two finalists in a special version of the Johnstone’s Paint Pot Challenge. Each fan will have 30 seconds to try and hit a giant inflatable paint pot with two balls from three separate distances – 10, 20 and 30 yards.
One point is awarded each time the inflatable is hit during the allotted time, with a sudden-death shoot-out from 30 yards taking place if the scores are tied.
The winner will receive £125 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Johnstone’s Paint. Both people selected to compete at Wembley will be awarded:
• Two tickets for the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final
• A replica shirt of the finalist team they are representing
• A Johnstone’s Paint Trophy goodie bag
• Commemorative photographs.
The Johnstone’s Paint Pot Challenge has proved the ultimate test of accuracy for dozens professional clubs over the last three seasons with tens of thousands of people viewing the challenge on the official Johnstone’s Paint Trophy YouTube channel.
