Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Leyton Orient, and has discussed left-back Rico Henry, who suffered a dislocated shoulder during the Saddlers' mid-week defeat to Preston North End.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; “Rico Henry has dislocated his shoulder so he will be out and I think that one will be a while.
“It’s a big blow for the kid. It’s horrible if he has to miss out on a Wembley appearance but it’s looking that way at the moment.
“It could be the end of the season but we won’t know until we have the scan in the next few days.
“Dislocated shoulders usually take a couple of months, but he’s got to have an MRI scan in the next few days to assess the severity of the damage.
“He has to have a scan because when it pops out, there can be nerve damage, so that’s the big thing you have to look at first.”
