Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press ahead of Tuesday evening's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Preston North End, and has praised loaned-in Manchester City Striker Jordy Hiwula as a 'defender's nightmare'.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; “What really impresses me about Jordy is his workrate but when he gets the ball to his feet, he has fast feet. He would be a defender’s nightmare – I certainly wouldn't have wanted to mark him.”
“There is a Wembley final in the not too distant future and players are playing for places.”
When asked whether Jordy and Saddlers' top-scorer Tom Bradshaw are battling it out for the one strikers' spot, Smith added; "I can’t see any reason why they can’t play together."
