Manchester-born Hiwula has scored three goals in five appearances and has easily stepped into the void left by an injury t Saddlers' top-scorer Tom Bradshaw.
Walsall hope to announce the deal very soon and could have all the paperwork completed ahead of tomorrow's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Leyton Orient.
Earlier today Walsall boss Dean Smith spoke to the Express & Star about Jordy, he said; “We knew what he was capable of, we had seen a couple of games when he played for Yeovil and he looked really sharp.
“I know he didn't perhaps get the goals there but I don’t think you can question his quality.
“What really helped him here was scoring in his first game, which has given him the confidence he needed. He is a clever player and that is what I like about him.”
