Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press ahead of this week's Sky Bet League 1 double that will see the Saddlers play host to Rochdale and Port Vale within the space of four days, and has called upon his side to turn their good performances into results and get back to winning ways at home.
The Saddlers are enjoying a great spell away from home, which has seen them go undefeated in five of their last seven games. However at home they have collected just one point from the last twelve, winning just one of the last six home games.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; “We have two games in a week and it is important to get back to winning ways at home. Our performances have been good, we just need to turn them into results.
"We have played better in some of our performances at home and not won games like we did at Doncaster on Saturday.”
