Walsall Football Club's loaned-in Leicester City midfielder Michael Cain has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Bradford City, and has discussed the current state of League 1, which sees the play off places and relegation zone separated by just thirteen points.
Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser, Michael said; “The teams in this league are very tight in together for the last couple of play-off positions.
“The more games we lose and the further we drift the harder it is to get back but if we go to Bradford and get a result we can claw them back and hopefully go above them soon.
“It’s a big period and there are a lot of games coming up but if we can string a few results together we will be right up there.
“The game against Port Vale last Saturday was not a fair result in terms of reflecting the game but if we can bounce back and get a few results we can get back to where we want to be.”
