Welcome to our coverage of 'Transfer Deadline Day'. On Sunday evening Walsall manager Dean Smith confirmed that he hopes to sign an attack-minded player on loan ahead of the 11pm transfer deadline.
Several players have been linked with a move to the Banks's Stadium during the window, including, amongst others, Chris Venables (Aberystwyth Town), Joao Rodriguez (Chelsea), and Dayle Southwell (Boston United).
