Jordan Cook has spoken to the club's official website following Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Doncaster Rovers, and has discussed his 3rd minute opener, which paved the way for a much-needed Saddlers' victory.
Speaking to
Saddlers.co.uk, Jordan said; "I'm happy to have got a goal and I thought we were excellent. We always aim to hit the front post with our corners, so it was nice to connect and get the goal.
"I'm always looking to get a flick on and disrupt the opposition defence and that was the case today.
"I sensed we were going to capitalise on one of our set-pieces eventually because I've been connecting well at the front post in the past few games.
"Luckily for us on this occasion I beat my man and it went in."
