Walsall Football Club captain Adam Chambers has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with surprise strugglers Leyton Orient, and has discussed the side's need to put together a run of results to get their play-off aspirations back on track.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Adam said; “We are getting towards the crunch end of the season and we need to be winning games. You want to play well but when it comes to this part of the season you need to win.
“We need to go on a bit of a run now to get to where we want to be. We know we have to put a run together. The last couple of seasons it seems we have done well against the teams at the top.
“We need to put that right now we have a run of games against those near the bottom, make sure we approach the game the right way and look to put in a strong performance, with the right intensity.
“We have shown we can put a run together and we are very confident we can do that. We have done it before, we know we are capable we just need to make sure we start games better than we did on Tuesday.”
