Walsall Football Club's loaned-in Leicester City midfielder Michael Cain has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with bradford City, and has offered a brief update on his future, with the Luton-born man set to be out of contract at the end of the current campaign.
Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser, Michael said; “I have learned different aspects, on the technical side, here and I feel there is much more of a competitive edge than playing under-21 football.
“I think I am a better player for it and a much wiser player as well. Getting a bit of experience and knowing what it is like I feel I am developing every game and my understanding of the game is getting a lot better. Hopefully I can carry it on.
“I’m out of contract at the end of the season so the ball is in Leicester’s court. After the loan finishes I am still contracted to July 1st so I will go back there and see what is planned for next season.
“It’s completely up to them. At the minute I am just happy to be playing football, that is the main thing.”
