Walsall Football Club's left-back Andy Taylor has spoken to the press following Tuesday evening's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Preston North End, where the Saddlers booked their place at the Wembley final, defeating the Lilywhites over two legs, and has discussed his desire to bring the JPT trophy home to the Banks's Stadium.

Speaking to TeamTalk.com, Andy said; "It's a terrific achievement. We are looking for the next step now, we want our names in the history books. It's brilliant for the club, in the area it does get overshadowed a bit by the other clubs but hopefully we've done our little bit to get it in the limelight.

"We're not going for a party, we want to win. There aren't many opportunities in your career you get to win a trophy and we have got a great opportunity now.

"If we play like we did on Tuesday we have a chance. We're going to enjoy it and we're going to try to win.

"It's not often you get to go to Wembley as a player and the fact we've achieved it is brilliant. We have to look forward to the day and when it comes we have to enjoy it.

"I couldn't care less, on our day I fancy us against anyone. We're going to go there, will give it our best and look to win."
