Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press ahead of next week's Johnstone's Paint Trophy - Northern Area Final - Second Leg clash with Preston North End, and has called upon the Saddlers' fans to get behind the team as they look to make it to Wembley for the first time in the clubs history.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said “It just shows it has caught the imagination of everyone but it is going to be a really tough game and we need everyone behind us.
“Preston have a couple of games to play between now and then. There will be no excuse, we will be fresh for it and we know how tough it is going to be. All it is at the moment is an opportunity.”
