Walsall Football Club winger Kieron Morris has today joined Vanarama Conference side Wrexham, for the remainder of the season.

20-year-old Hereford-born Morris joined the Saddlers as an apprentice following time with Hereford United Youth Academy, he went on to sign pre-terms in 2013.

During the 2012/13 season Kieron spent time on loan at Conference North side Worcester City, making eight appearances and scoring one goal, and the following season he had a loan spell at Leamington, where he played in four league games.

Kieron spoke to Saddlers.co.uk about today's news, he said; “I’m looking forward to getting some competitive games under my belt. It will be good to get a run of games and make my mark.

“I know that I’m going into a tough and physical League, but I am looking forward to the challenge that awaits me.

“This is an opportunity for me to show the Gaffer what I can do whilst also helping Wrexham climb the table.

“I was happy with the way in which I started the season but it’s been hard to break back into the team as we have been doing well, so this move gives me the chance to get game time at the end of the week.

“I’ve been working hard, and will continue to do so in order to make an impact.”
