On Tuesday evening Walsall Football Club booked their place in the Final of this season's Johnstone's Paint Trophy competition after defeating Preston North End over two legs of the Northern Area Final.
The match, which will be against either Gillingham or Bristol City, will take place on Sunday, 22nd March meaning the Saddlers' Sky Bet League 1 clash away to Swindon Town, currently scheduled for Saturday, 21st March will have to be rescheduled.
The Saddlers will face Sheffield United at home on Tuesday, 17th March and Notts County, again at home, on Friday, 3rd April, before travelling to Peterborough to take on the Posh on Monday, 6th April.
With such a heavy schedule it will be interesting to see where the Football League and both clubs manage to fit the fixture in!
