Walsall Football Club have today confirmed that highly rated youth product Amadou Bakayoko, and former Stourbridge striker Jordan Murphy, have both returned to the club following loan spells in the Vanarama Conference.
19-year-old Bakayoko was on loan with Southport, and made around ten first-team appearances for the Sandgrounders, including his FA Cup debut against Derby County on 3rd January.
Murphy, who joined the Saddlers on a free transfer following a brief summer trial spell, was on loan with Worcester City, and also made his FA Cup debut for the club, making appearances during the Blues' heroics against Coventry City in Round 1, and Scunthorpe United in Round 2, a fixture that they took to a replay.
