Earlier today Walsall Football Club secured an extension on Leicester City midfielder Michael Cain's loan deal, Michael spoke to the press about today's news, and discussed his time at the club, offering special praise for club Captain Adam Chambers.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Michael said; “I’ve really enjoyed the first three months of my time here. It’s a great club to be involved with and everyone has made me feel welcome.
“It’s been a good experience for me and a real learning curve; I feel that I have really developed as a player and as a person since I have been here.
“It’s nice to know that I will be staying here for the rest of the season now. I can settle down and really kick on during these exciting months that lie ahead.
“As a team we’ve put in some excellent performances since I have been here and our results have picked up.
“League One is a physical and technical League; there are some good teams and some talented players playing at this level, but I am happy with how I am adapting to it and the experience can only benefit me.
“Also having Adam Chambers alongside me has been a massive help. He’s got bags of experience and gives me plenty of good feedback.”
