Versatile Walsall defender James Chambers has spoken to the press ahead of tomorrow's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area Semi-Final clash with Tranmere Rovers, and has insisted that the team are not thinking about any potential trip to Wembley, and are only concerned with the game ahead.
Speaking to the Express & Star, James said; “Wembley is the word which is being bandied around. We are just looking forward to the game.
“If we do well enough, if we play well enough and we perform on the night, put the ball in the back of the net and keep it out the other end, then we will progress, it’s as simple as that.
“While we can jump ahead and start thinking about Wembley we have a job to do. Until we’ve done it, we can’t talk too much about Wembley.
“We feel the squad is capable of performing consistently at the level we are at the moment."
