Walsall top scorer Tom Bradshaw has spoken to the press ahead of Boxing Day's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Swindon Town, and has discussed the squad's growing confidence as they head into a busy festive schedule.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Tom said; “You don’t look at the odds. We go into every game thinking we are favourites, regardless of what the bookies say. We have every confidence in ourselves. It is seven games unbeaten now.
“The teams we are playing are in good form. Why can’t we pick up six points from the next two games? It is perfectly achievable and we back ourselves to do it.
“We fancy ourselves against anyone at the Banks’s and if we can get three points against Swindon on Boxing Day, then the one we got on Saturday will be a great one.
“It is all about momentum and we have kept that going by getting the draw. It is a great run going into Christmas.”
“Bramall Lane is not an easy place to go to, the fans get behind them and they are a good team. I think we have to be happy with the point.
“We tend to react better to the bigger games and we have those coming up in abundance, it is time to show what we are made of.”
