Walsall Football Club top scorer Tom Bradshaw has spoken to the club's official website following his weekend brace against former club Shrewsbury Town, in the FA Cup, and has praised the character of his team-mates, after they were able to bring themselves back into the game to secure a replay.

Speaking to saddlers.co.uk, Tom said; “Obviously I was happy to get two goals, particularly against my former club, and I was happy that we were able to claw our way back into the game.Overall I felt that we put in a good performance on Saturday. It was a topsy-turvy kind of game, but we showed great character to come back from behind twice to get a replay.

“Sometimes as a team you have to be patient and keep chipping away doing the small things right in order to finally get your reward, which was the case at the weekend."
