Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the club's official website following his side's disappointing Sky Bet League One defeat to Crewe Alexandra, and has agreed that the side need to bounce back quickly as they face a tough trip to Crawley Town on Tuesday evening.
Speaking to saddlers.co.uk, Dean said; "Disappointed, frustrated and annoyed are three words that spring to mind. We didn't deserve to lose, but at the same time we didn't deserve to win.
"It was a disappointing and scrappy goal to concede. I felt that we didn't test their goalkeeper anywhere near enough, particularly after the last three performances here.
"It became a bit like a game of chess, but we didn't do enough in the final third to score and neither did they. We know that we have to be better on the ball; we're making bad decisions at crucial times.
"The fans got behind us and were naturally disappointed at the end, so we have to be ready to go again on Tuesday at Crawley. We need to win games, it's a simple as that and we will be looking to turn it around and bounce back in what will be another tough game."
