Ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League One clash with Chesterfield, Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the club's official website, and has offered his thoughts on his team's recent results.
Speaking to saddlers.co.uk, Dean said; "We go into the game with a clean bill of health for the first time in a very long time! Tom Bradshaw is back from his hamstring problem, whilst Sam Mantom was on the bench at Crawley and got an hour under his belt for the reserves on Wednesday, which was a real boost for us.
"We know that on Tuesday evening we were not clinical enough, whilst in our last home game against Crewe Alexandra we didn't have that nous in the final third.
"We should not have been beaten in both games, but there were so many positives to take out of our last performance and if we take these into the games ahead, we won't go wrong.
"Football can be a cruel game; if we make sure that we stay together and keep believing, we will be okay.
"Chesterfield are a good footballing team who did well last season and have had some entertaining games so far this season as they have adapted well to the demands of the higher level. They will bring a good following, so we're looking forward to it."
