
St Kitts began the spell with a surprise 2-3 defeat to Barbados, but followed that up with a 1-2 win over French Guiana, meaning that, following other results, the Suga Boyz needed a win to successfully send them through Group 8.
Sadly for Romaine and his teammates, the Haiti defence held strong and secured another point to cement their position at the top of the group, sending St Kitts out on goal difference.
Romaine will now head home and should feature for the Saddlers next weekend, as they play host to Crewe Alexandra in Sky Bet League One.
