Walsall Football Club captain Adam Chambers has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League One trip to Notts County, and has discussed his hope that the team can kick on and build on last weekend's victory over Chesterfield.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Adam said; “We are hoping Saturday is going to be the turning point for the season and we can start kicking on now.
“We feel that we are in a bit of a false position – we've been a bit inconsistent but with some of the performances we've put in, we feel we should be higher up the table.
“But you've got to win games – it’s no good saying that, we need to actually do that on the pitch.
“And we’re looking to back this up with a good performance and hopefully some points against Notts County.”
