Walsall Football Club have today announced that young striker Amadou
Bakayoko has been allowed to leave the club on loan, in order to gain some
first-team football.
Amadou, a product of the ever-successful Saddlers youth team has been a
regular on the scoresheet whilst coming through the ranks at Banks’s Stadium
and made his senior debut towards the end of last season.
He has however made just a handful of substitute appearances this term
and joins the Haig Avenue outfit in a bid to gain regular competitive football.
Speaking to saddlers.co.uk, Amadou said; “I just want to
play games, so I can't wait to get stuck in and show what I can do. "It's
about going there, getting time on the pitch and scoring a few goals.
"I've enjoyed being part of the first-team group here and my aim is
to come back ready to push on.
"A few of the younger lads have gone out on loan to get games and
it is good experience. I know that I'm going into a tough, competitive League,
but I feel ready for it and am confident in my ability to make an impact."
