A West Midlands Police officer has this evening (Saturday) confirmed that four males have been arrested and charged in connection with disorder prior to Saturday's Sky Bet League One draw between Walsall and Bristol City.
PC Richard Stanley, of West Midlands Police, confirmed via Twitter; "Tonight we have charged four males allegedly involved in a disorder at the Walsall game. We're looking at banning them too."
It is understood that there were several scuffles on the near-by retail park prior to kick off, with Police attempting to separate the two sides.
Bristol City bought almost 2,000 supporters from the South West, pushing the match attendance up to a season high of 5,574.
