Walsall started much more the brighter of the two with Green shooting just wide after just 60 seconds. However, it didn’t take the saddlers long to take the lead after great link up play between Morgan and Quigley resulted in the later playing an inch perfect through ball to Glover who raced on to the end of it showing fantastic composure to slot past the onrushing 'keeper and into the back of the net and bag her first competitive goal for her new club.
It didn't take Glover long to double her tally for the afternoon and extend Walsall’s lead. After Green’s shot was parried, it was left for Glover to tap into an empty net from the edge of the box. Walsall killed the game off on the stroke of half time, when Green was again involved in yet another goal. Her shot looked destined to hit the back of the net before a Malvern defender got back to clear only for the ball to ricochet off a fellow player into the goal. Walsall comfortably saw out the rest of the game and deservedly put their name into the hat for the next round.
