Walsall Football Club full-back Andy Taylor has today spoken to the club's official website about the mid-week defeat to Rochdale, and insisted that the team can bounce back and win against Gillingham this weekend.
Speaking to saddlers.co.uk, Andy said: “We’re obviously bitterly disappointed with the Tuesdays result but the beauty of football is that there’s always another game around the corner. We know the performance as well as the scoreline wasn't acceptable but if we can go to Gillingham and come away with three points, then two wins in three games isn't a bad return in the space of seven days.
“Results have shown that anybody can beat anybody on their day so we know it will be difficult but we head into the game with a point to prove and hopefully we can bounce straight back. We know how competitive this League is but we believe we can go down there and win the game.”
