ROBINS EXPECTED TO BRING LARGE FOLLOWING

This weekend Walsall Football Club play host to big-spending Bristol City in the latest Sky Bet League One fixture of the season.

Bristol City, who are currently flying high at the top of the table, are expected to being in the region of 1,825 supporters to the Banks's Stadium having already sold over 1,100 tickets ahead of this weekend's match.

The Robins were initially allocated 500 tickets - which sold out in under a week, they were subsequently allocated a further 300 tickets which again, sold out rapidly.

Walsall FC then issued a further 500 tickets which have also sold out. The Robins have again been issued with just over 500 more tickets for the game, with all expected to sell.

Away supporters will no longer be able to pay on the day, as the match is now ALL TICKET for Robins fans. Home supporters are not affected.

Speaking to the Bristol Post, City captain Wade Elliott has offered his gratitude to the City supporters for their backing this season, and anticipates another part atmosphere at the Banks’s Stadium at the weekend.

He said: “The supporters have been outstanding , both home and away, all season. They created a brilliant atmosphere at Fleetwood last week and really got behind us against MK Dons.

“Having that twelfth man behind them really helps the lads and we’re looking forward to seeing a packed away end at Walsall. Hopefully, we can keep our run going and give them something to cheer.”
