Speaking to the Express & Star, Romaine, who has recently returned from a spell with St Kitts and Nevis, said: "I can accept when supporters are, shall we way, not on my side, when my performances were like they were.
“I think if I perform like I did on Saturday, I will have them with me, more than without me.
“The club has always supported me since I have been here and the reception when I came off on Saturday good, it made me feel good about myself.
"The first goal in St Kitts was a big relief and to bring it back here was another massive relief.
“Hopefully I can kick on from here and the team can kick on after the first victory. It was a massive win. I think the whole team enjoyed it.”
