Walsall Football Club summer signing James O'Connor has today spoken about up-and-coming midfielder-come-defender Liam Kinsella, and has discussed the clubs youth system, which has seen several youngsters step up to the first-team.
Speaking to the Express & Star, James said; “He has been different class. I came here in the summer and did a bit of training before I’d actually signed, just to keep ticking over.
“And he was one of the young lads who I did a bit of work with and the first thing you notice about him is that his attitude is absolutely second to none.
“When he came into the games he was different class and that’s great for a club like Walsall.
“If you've got young lads stepping up, making a mark and improving the squad it’s a good model for the club.”
