Walsall Football Club captain Adam Chambers has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League One clash with Doncaster Rovers, and has discussed the club's need to start building on their good performances, and earning victories at home.Speaking to the Express & Star, Adam said: "We need something to build on. It is the performances we are always looking at, you can’t control results.
“When you are in a consistent run of performances, you tend to pick up a lot of points. We are focused on putting in good performances and we need to start doing that now.
“We have been inconsistent so far, for one reason and another.
“Without wishing to make excuses, we have been changing the team from game to game through injury, but we really need to start putting some consistent performances in. If we do, I’m sure the points will follow.
"I think we need to start picking up points at home. The last home game was a good performance against Preston. That is what we are looking for now.”
